We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fees/Accounts Receivable Officer based at our Senior Campus in Langwarrin South.

The primary responsibility of the Fees/Accounts Receivable Officer is to undertake the function of Accounts Receivable processing for staff, students, school activities and parents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage all invoicing, collecting sundry and commercial debtors, refunds and banking of cash/cheques in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Calculate and manage discounts and concessions
- Verify discrepancies and resolve parent billing enquiries
- Facilitating payments of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting parents
- Maintaining the billing system, accounts receivable digital files and records
- Preparing monthly debtors’ reports and month end duties including GL reconciliations
- Processing all EFTPOS, credit card and cash payments
- Management of online receipting software via financial institutions
- Management of debt collection including collection via debt collection agencies

**Experience and Skills**

Must be able to demonstrate:

- An understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Ability to act with integrity and be customer focused, friendly & approachable
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated high levels of organisation ability and initiative including capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines
- Strong Excel skills including CSV upload files and pivot tables

**Conditions of Employment**
- A Working With Children's Check is required for this position
- Qualification and First Aid/Anaphylaxis is required for this position
