**Job description**:
**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an APS6 Communication and Engagement Project Officer to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Richmond. This is a 12-month assignment paying $60.26 per hour plus super.

The role would suit someone who has experience working within change management, delivering behavioural change projects in an agile environment.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Support and drive the strategic direction to project areas and drive behavioural change through communication and engagement activities
- Support the development and delivery of communication and engagement plans producing accessible and plain language content for a variety of channels
- Contribute to planning, reporting, and forecasting in line with the project management framework
- Support leaders in driving organisational change in a complex environment
- Make decisions on communication and engagement projects
- Develop a range of internal and external accessible communication material including key message packs, articles, documents, web content, PowerPoint presentations.

**To be considered for the role, you will demonstrate**:

- Experience in project and change management
- Sound judgement, resilience, and integrity
- Ability to provide a coaching and mentor role within the team
- Strong and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
