**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an
**APS6 Communications and Engagement Project Officer.** This role will be based in Richmond and will be a 12 month assignment. The role is working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and will be $60.26 per hour plus super.

The
**Communications and Engagement Project Officer** is a team membership role that may be required to perform team leadership and management responsibilities.

The role works collaboratively within the team and will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans.

**Responsibilities include;**
- Supporting project areas to drive behavioural change through targeted communications content and engagement activities
- Develop a range of internal and external accessible communication material including key message packs, articles, documents, web content, PowerPoint presentations and leadership
- Contribute within a project management frameworks to planning, reporting, forecasting and identifying priority areas
- Make decisions, with support and direction from line managers, on communications and engagement projects with considerable complexity and sensitivity
- Support leaders in driving organisational change and corporate culture in complex environments

**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Experience in communications and/or community engagement roles
- Experience in or exposure to Project Management and Change Management methodologies
- Ability to provide a leadership role within the team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and produce high quality written communications
