**About this role**:
A premium têxtiles supplier is seeking a Design Assistant to join their growing team sourcing and developing têxtiles for the brand.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Design Team with the development of products, ensuring all logistics and administrative functions are coordinated and completed seamlessly.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage the development schedule and coordinate logistics of all new product development
- Oversee the sourcing of all drapery and upholstery products
- Champion all day to day administration tasks
- Ensure sampling of new and existing products is managed in line with project schedules
- Liaise with the Marketing Team to ensure strategies are aligned with product development and sales objectives
- Assist with general showroom duties and administration tasks

**Skills and experience**
- 3+ years working in product design within the têxtiles industry
- Tertiary qualification in product or têxtile design
- Advanced Creative Suite skills (Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data entry and numeracy skills

Bio: Alex started his career as a plumber in the UK and after qualifying, he worked in the construction industry alongside architects and designers. Following his move to Sydney, Alex helped design and supply luxury bathrooms before joining the Bespoke team to recruit salespeople, business developers, marketers and support staff across the Sydney and Brisbane architectural & interior product markets.
