**People Support**

***The People Support Unit is located within the Department for Education (the department), People & Culture Division. The People Support Unit is the first point of contact for employment advice, services and support for over 30,000 employees across our workforce.

We are looking for a People Support Operational Analyst that will make an impact through the delivery of data, reporting and analytics that supports the world-leading service excellence delivered by our frontline People Support roles.

The People Support Operational Analyst forms part of a connected team that provides a customer focussed service to department employees and stakeholders across the employee lifecycle as well as People & Culture programs and initiatives.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Experience in frontline customer service delivery across cloud-based technologies, in a high volume, complex contact centre environment.
- Experience in the implementation, use and management of contact channel technologies with an awareness of digital market trends, challenges and risks applicable to a contact centre environment.
- Experience in delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc statistical analysis and reporting, advice and recommendations that support strategic business planning across operational areas such as contact channel resourcing, long and short-term activity forecasting, training and development and communications.
- Technically minded with advanced excel experience and experience in workforce planning tool/s.
- Proven critical thinker with an awareness of cause and impact on service levels and experience in problem solving to improve user experience.
- Proven ability to organize and manage multiple data sources and workflows to competing priority / deadlines.

**Special Conditions**

This is a full-time contract role (1.0 FTE), initial 12-month term contract with potential to extend.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Please note that department employees working in high-risk environments are required to maintain up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, with a TGA Approved Vaccine, or comply with the following reasonable, additional safety measures to mitigate risk in the workplace. Vaccination status must be disclosed and provided for sighting on request.
