**About the role**

The Disaster Resilience Manager will provide strategic leadership on the management of disaster resilience across Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN).

The Disaster Resilience Manager is responsible for the overall strategic disaster management within CALHN including emergency response, major incident management and business continuity planning. The Disaster Resilience Manager will also ensure effective and efficient fire safety services across Central Adelaide including emergency response requirements. The Disaster Resilience Manager will ensure the disaster resilience system is fit for purpose as prescribed in SA Health Policies and Australian standards

The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South’s Australia’s major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. We also deliver mental health services at Glenside Health Services and at a range of other locations across the metropolitan and regional areas.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
