**About the Team**

Group Risk’s purpose is to support the Bank’s strategy and deliver strong risk management and risk culture outcomes to contribute to the Bank’s enduring success.

Risk Governance is a second line Group risk function, providing Bank-wide risk management expertise relating to framework, governance, appetite, and strategy. The Financial Resilience Risk team sits within Risk Governance and has responsibilities for recovery and resolution planning, capital adequacy, stress testing and regulatory engagement.

**About the role**

We have a great opportunity for a** Financial Resilience Risk Analyst **and, reporting to and assisting the Manager Financial Resilience Risk, you will be responsible for providing direct support in the planning, execution and delivery of the work plan for Risk Governance.

In this opportunity you’ll get to:

- Develop Reporting for the Bank’s Board;
- Support the Bank’s engagement with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA)
- Assist with activities in relation to the Climate & Nature Action Plan; and
- Offered the opportunity to support a range of activities that sit within the team including Recovery and Exit Planning, Resolution Planning, Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and Enterprise-wide Stress Testing.

This is a 12-month fixed term to be based at one of our corporate offices in Adelaide or Melbourne and we offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement with an expectation you work from the office 2 days per week.

**About you**

In addition you will have:

- Banking experience with an understanding of banking products, process and policies preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related disciplines preferred
- Some understanding of risk functions but eager to develop your knowledge and experience in risk management;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work with and support a range of stakeholders;
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving capabilities;
- Flexible, curious and enthusiastic mindset with the ability to learn quickly
