Are you a Practice Manager looking for a change or a 2IC, experienced medical receptionist looking to upgrade their skills and passionate about high quality healthcare services?

**The Role**:
You will support the overall, daily operation of this small, family GP clinic located in Bayside Brighton. The responsibilities will include managing front desk reception, liaising with patients and all aspects of office administration.

Tasks include:

- Identifying and trouble-shooting operational issues
- Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations and systems
- Patient and practice account management
- Overseeing online Medicare claiming processes
- Cold chain management
- Maintaining accreditation standards and healthcare compliance requirements
- Maintaining inventory of medical / office supplies and medical equipment and ordering
- Serving as the point of contact for all patients in relation to addressing concerns and follow-ups
- General cleaning and room maintenance duties.
- Carrying out part of induction of new staff
- Reception staff rosters

You will report directly to the Business Manager and assist the Business Manager with any tasks necessary such as:

- First point of contact in the absence of Business Manager
- Continuous improvement
- Clinical governance & risk, practice development
- Promotion of the clinic ensuring that a high level of customer service is being delivered to all patients.

**About you**:

- Experience in practice management/Front desk/reception experience within a General Practice setting
- Sound knowledge of medical billing and operating TYRO machine
- Medical Director, Pracsoft software experience (preferred but not essential)
- High computer literacy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of medical billing
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
- A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice.

This position is available as a Full time Permanent or Part Time ie 4 days per week.

Level 8 - 9 pay point 1 - 3 dependent on experience.
