**About the role**:
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Research Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high-quality patient centred care. The successful applicant(s) will be expected to be able to work on the supportive care in cancer research project, working with First Nations people with cancer and their families.
Our focus is on exceptional allied health research. A strong background and a proven record in research activities would be an advantage. The position is available for 10 months with the possibility of renewal. Salary and conditions will be in accordance with qualification and experience.

Demonstrated communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Computer literacy skills (required) and experience using REDCap, NVIVO, SPSS or other statistical software (desirable).Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development and to workplace health and safety including an awareness of the principles of confidentiality, privacy and information handling in conducting research.
