**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the EV Manager, the EV Charging Network Product Manager is responsible for managing the operations, customer experience, and growth of RACV’s charging network.

As a Product Manager for the EV Charging Network within RACV, you will be responsible for managing the operations and expansion of our public EV charging infrastructure.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the uptime and utilisation of the network, while seeking opportunities to expand. This is a mid-senior level role that requires someone with knowledge and experience in managing public EV charging infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

- Possess a deep understanding of EV charging hardware (AC/DC) and software (CPMS platforms), including communication standards such as OCPP and OCPI.
- Have a strong understanding of the EV industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements allowing you to identify new opportunities for growth and make strategic decisions.
- Able to analyse data and identify trends and insights that will inform business decisions. This includes monitoring and reporting on the performance of the network, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize performance.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage faults, repairs, and ensure maximum uptime of the EV charging network, minimising financial impacts through efficient resolution of issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including site hosts, vendors, and internal teams. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for developing productive relationships and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role preferably within a product or operational function
- At least 5 years of energy industry experience preferably within the EV sector and a demonstrated understanding of key industry stakeholders and market participants
- Knowledge and understanding of state/federal policies and how they influence market outcomes and business decisions
- Experience in project management, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
