**What are we looking for**

We are seeking an Account Executive to expand the adoption and sales of their Smart Building Cloud products in Australia. The Account Executive is a key customer-facing team member who will lead customer relationships and engagements, sales, smooth deployments, and technical implementation. The Account Executive will be responsible for:

- Building and strengthening customer relationships.
- Developing a sales pipeline and executing this to meet established sales targets.
- Managing customer accounts from lead generation through sale/deal closure.
- Overseeing post-sale technical deployment and ongoing customer success to ensure customer is receiving the full value of our solution and positioning for upsell opportunities.
- Growing and enhancing customer relationships and accounts to drive portfolio-wide adoption of their solutions.
- Representing and promoting my client in the Australian market, particularly within the commercial real estate industry.

The Account Executive is ultimately responsible for delighting customers, being a voice of the customer to the rest of the organization and representing my client in Australia as the company’s ambassador. Other colleagues may run point during various phases of the sales and deployment process, however, when it comes to account ownership, the buck stops with the Account Executive.

**Essential responsabilities**
- Understand our client’s target customers, value propositions, competitors and sales strategy.
- Develop comprehensive customer engagement and account plans and execute these to drive account penetration and sales.
- Work with product teams to ensure strong execution with a goal to expand accounts.
- Develop and own the sales opportunity pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Own the relationship from initial contact to delivery, product commissioning, and customer onboarding.
- Understand our customer’s technical and business requirements to produce a comprehensive Statement of Work (SoW), including technical architectures, deployment plans, etc.
- Be the technical leader responsible for driving customer installation and ensure the Pilot and Production implementations are successful.
- Work with product, marketing and customer success teams to continue to enhance value propositions, including sharing customer feedback, product feature requests, advantages and improvement opportunities.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Strong record of positioning and selling software and SaaS products to large, complex enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders.
- Track record of building relationships with commercial real estate, IT and technology, and digital transformation teams, and selling SaaS products to technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully build and execute account plans.
- Is passionate about and enjoys building long-term relationships with customers at all levels, from managers to CxOs.
- Working experience with Networking Protocols (TCP/IP), VLANs, IP subnetting, VPN, Switching, Routing, Proxies, Firewalls, Linux.
- Troubleshooting skills that include hands-on experience with IT network and consultation on best practices regarding customer networking and server integration.
- Has an ownership mindset to serve customers and to solve their problems. Takes initiative and can be relied upon to execute well and to ask for help as needed.
- Growth mindset with hunger to continuously learn.
- Understands what it means to succeed as a team.
- Excellent communication skills

- Superior organizational skills. High attention to detail. Good with numbers.
- Willing and able to deal with high-pressure situations - at times requiring round-the-clock escalation management.

**_ Education:_**

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
