Fortnightly salary (exc. super): $3,217.60 - $3,378.40
Hours per fortnight: 80hrs with monthly ADO every 4 weeks
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

**Role Description**

The Clinic Coordinator will provide leadership and supervision for all dental assistant staff that support the community dental service in accordance with BH Policy and Procedure guidelines. This position also provides support for the everyday operation of the clinical setting.

The Clinic Coordinator will demonstrate strong problem solving skills; including the ability to develop new processes, make improvements to existing processes and services, and support staff through changes that occur. The incumbent is required to contribute to the provision of high quality efficient and effective dental health services, with a strong orientation to customer service.

The Clinic Coordinator will assist the Program Manager in managing daily operations of the dental clinic including monitoring revenue from a business and clinical perspective. They will participate in design, development and evaluation of innovative service delivery models. The Clinic Coordinator will form part of the senior management team within the Dental Service and actively contribute to strategic direction and business planning of the service. The Clinic Coordinator will provide coordination between the La Trobe University teaching program and CDS and actively contribute to quality improvement activities relevant to CDS.

**The Team**

The Community Dental Services (CSD) is a 31 surgery clinic that provides dental care for the Bendigo community & surrounds. The team consists of dentists, oral health therapists, dental prosthetists, oral health educators & support personnel. The CDS is primarily funded by Dental Health Services Victoria to provide general & emergency oral health care within the scope of publicly funded dental services. CDS is also involved in preventative oral health initiatives including an active schools & early years outreach program.

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer, dental and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics, Dental and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
