The Student Operations Unit at UOW is looking for an Assistant to join the Enrolment and Progressions Team at its Wollongong campus.

In this role you will provide administrative support for student enrolment operations from when they first enrol right through to their final graduation.

As a Student Operations Assistant, you will do important work that helps UOW achieve its mission to provide a first-class experience for its students.

**In a normal workday you will**:

- Triage and allocate cases for the Enrolment and Progressions Team
- Answer and case manage enquiries escalated from the frontline service centre
- Work with other staff within the team and across the University to solve administrative problems for students
- Create documents, student ID cards, and letters for students
- Provide general administrative support to the wider Student Operations Unit during peaks
- Support student activities and events such as graduation ceremonies, orientation, enrolment days, and exams

**To be considered for this role **, you should have experience and/or education and training in:

- Providing great administrative support and excellent customer service
- Learning a high volume of detailed information in a busy environment
- Learning and using web-based systems and service technology (such as CRM systems)
- Communicating effectively with people from a variety of cultural and non-English speaking backgrounds
- Experience working in a higher education environment would be an advantage
