UOW Pulse is a not-for-profit organisation that enhances campus life for students and staff through events, entertainment and experiences. We work across a diverse range of outlets and commercial sectors to provide and deliver a memorable experience for the entire UOW community.

The Role

We're looking for a Student Experience Assistant who is willing to work in a fast paced and everchanging environment on a part time basis (14 hours per week) for 12 months. As a Student Experience Assistant, you will be crucial in fostering the success and vibrancy of the diverse student-led clubs and societies on the UOW campus. Your role extends beyond mere support, you will serve as the key liaison between clubs and various departments, attend meetings, and collaborate closely with the diverse Pulse team.

Job Requirements

  • Be a current UOW student.
  • Experience, and/or an interest in, the UOW student experience and its importance in enriching the campus community.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, and the ability to liaise with contacts and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service to people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly learn new administrative and management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, where required.
  • Ability to travel to UOW metro and regional campuses (outside of Wollongong) via car or public transport, if required.
  • Current provisional or above NSW drivers licence.
