About the role

For this newly created role we are looking for an experienced and organised Administrative Officer to manage all administrative functions associated with our training programs. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and supportive way with all other members of the training team, performing varied tasks which will involve discretion, confidentiality and initiative.

You will be doing the following tasks:

- Co ordinating day to day administrative tasks
- Working directly with Training Plus students
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Working as part of a team with Vocational Trainers
- Managing and monitoring course referrals, attendance and completions
- Managing all financial accounts and records including creating invoices and purchase orders

Flexible working arrangements available, position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or QLD.

This position will be a 12-month full-time contract position.

About you:

- Strong administrative skills experience with an acute attention to detail
- Excellent customer focused service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel /Word
- Experience with accounts receivable and payable preferred
- Experience in Vocational Education sector is desirable
- Employment services experience is desirable
