Project Coordinator

**Position Overview**
As an Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of installation projects. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, overseeing technical drawings, supervising installers, facilitating product ordering, and ensuring seamless project coordination with builders and suppliers. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent project and site management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
**Project Management**: Lead and manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project scope, quality, budget, and timeline.
**Scheduling**: Develop and maintain project schedules, including task sequencing and resource allocation, to ensure timely project completion.
**Technical Drawings**: Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project requirements.
**Installer Management**: Coordinate and supervise installers, providing guidance, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
**Product Ordering**: Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to determine material requirements, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials to the project site.
**Project Coordination**: Act as a central point of contact for builders, architects, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
**Quality Assurance**: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure installation meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
**Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any challenges that may impact project delivery or quality.
**Documentation**: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience in the construction industry, experience with installation projects is desirable.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant regulations and codes.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes in the construction industry.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
