Editorial Assistant

We are NewsCorp Australia’s National Regional and Community Network. This is NewsCorp’s largest editorial division, spanning newspapers and digital-only mastheads across regional and suburban Australia.

You will support the network editor.

**What’s the role?**
- Produce relevant reports, correspondence, presentations and spreadsheets in a timely and accurate manner
- Support with invoice processing, corporate card reconciliation, tracking spend, accruals and budget management for the departments, with an ability to analyse and create relevant reports
- Support the Human Resource requirements including entering information into the HR system and requesting employee transfers or salary adjustments
- Manage the requirements for key editorial mastheads/business units.

**Who are you?**
- It would be an advantage to have experience in the media.
- Able to work under pressure and successfully deal with competing demands while maintaining complete confidentiality and reliability
- Agile and thrive in a complex and evolving business with ongoing change
- Experienced in planning, organising and problem-solving completing multiple deadline-driven projects efficiently and on time.
- Highly skilled in building strong internal and external relationships, executing work in a timely manner and regularly dealing with information of a commercially sensitive and confidential nature
- Drive effective communication. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, external clients and business partners in an efficient and professional manner
