We are seeking for Early Parenting Support worker with post-natal experience in early parenting work to join our team.

This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative team working with our EPC team.

**About the Role**

Our Parent Early Parenting Centre is a 20-bed specialist inpatient residential unit for the assessment and promotes the health of new mothers' health and wellbeing.

Providing acute specialist treatment programs consisting of group, individual, mother/infant and parent education.

Our program operates with an innovative multi-disciplinary team of experienced professionals. Members of the team includes Psychologists, General Practitioners, Psychiatric Nurses, Midwifes, General/Pediatric Nurses, Family Support Workers and Maternal and Child health Nurses.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of parents with 0-2 years children.

Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm in providing to learn in providing child focused, family centered care.

Provide quality customers seeking to understand and meet their needs.

You will also hold;
- Registered Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum Diploma in Children's Services
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Available to work a flexible roster over 7 days a week
- High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
- High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
- Understanding of infection control principles

**Remuneration**:
**$ 30.51 + $35.72 + **superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC EEN gr1-gr8) [FTE $60,287.76 - $70,566.60]

Masada Private Hospital is a fully accredited 105 bed acute medical, surgical facility with specialised dermatology, early parenting and rehabilitation services located in central Melbourne. Our philosophy is to provide a range of services which are appropriate to the needs of the community.
