**Position Description**
With team fit and culture a priority, this business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Billing / Accounts Officer to join their team.

Reporting to the Revenue Team Leader and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing special bills and liaising with the accounts team
- Managing billing related corrections and queries
- Processing Medicare rebates
- Ensuring Medicare fees reconcile with payment summaries
- Following up overdue accounts
- Liaising with support staff to maintain client records
- Being proactive to ensure the timely completion of the monthly billing
- Customer service with internal and external stakeholders
- As well as other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager
- Previous experience within a similar Billing role
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
