**Client Overview**: Our client is a respected organisation in Western Sydney, specialising in providing comprehensive support and assistance to families in need. They are dedicated to early intervention strategies aimed at empowering families and improving outcomes for children and their caregivers.

**Position Overview**:
The early intervention family caseworker provides support and assistance to families facing challenges, aiming to address issues early on and improve outcomes for children and caregivers. They conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, offer practical support and advocacy, and collaborate with other service providers to ensure holistic support for families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of family dynamics, needs, and challenges.
- Develop tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families to address identified issues.
- Provide practical support, counselling, and advocacy to families to enhance their well-being and resilience.
- Coordinate with other service providers and agencies to ensure holistic support for families.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of intervention plans, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress reports.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in working with families, preferably in an early intervention context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong assessment and case management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services available in Western Sydney.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, non-judgmental approach with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of families.
- Full Australian Driver's License
- Access to a reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle and willingness to use it for work purposes

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with culturally diverse communities.
- Fluency in languages commonly spoken in Western Sydney communities.
