About the role
As a Cyber Security Lead, you’ll provide guidance for all Cyber related investigations and contribute to the development of Lifeblood’s Cyber Investigations and Incident Management strategy. A day in the role will see you:
Continuously improve our security posture through prevention, detection, response, and remediation of information security risks.
Work as a change agent to lead the growth of our security operations capability.
Investigate and analyse security events and incidents from triage to remediation.
Assist with building and implementing tools to automate security monitoring and tasks.
Work with key stakeholders to identify, respond to, and remediate information security issues.
Threat hunting for malicious and anomalous activity.
**Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for**:
3+ years working in a Security Operations, Information Security, Technology, or similar; with a strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, incident response, and risk management processes.
Experience using remote acquisition/analysis tools or endpoint detection/response agents across multiple OS systems for security log or data collections.
Have worked with security tools and platforms including SIEM, IPS/IDS & EDR.
Experience mentoring and/or leading a team to deliver results within technology.
This is a fixed term, full time parental leave cover until May 2024, with a hybrid work model of WFH and from our office in West Melbourne (10 minute walk from Southern Cross & Flagstaff Station).
