**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven **Placement** **Coordinator** to provide administrative support and coordinate work placement activities in our Vocational Education and Training (VET) team.

In this pivotal role you will liaise with Angliss Careers and Employment and industry employers to identify, source and obtain placement opportunities for students.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Source work placement opportunities for Tourism, Hospitality and Events students externally with industry.
- Provide a range of administrative services across the Tourism, Hospitality and Events programs.
- Collaborate with other Departments to align and improve placement processes.
- Conduct work placement site visits.

- A relevant degree or qualification (e.g. Career Development, Human Resources, Management or Education).
- Work experience in the tourism, hospitality and/or events industry. Expertise in the development and delivery of a range of career development and employment services and programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review services and programs, policies and processes that align to enhancing the student experience, furthering student career outcomes and building engagement with industry and alumni.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as gaining cooperation from others across the organisation to achieve objectives within budget.
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
