The role

The Academic Administrator (Planning) reports to the Director of Academic Excellence and works in close collaboration with the Academic Administrator (Exams, Reports and Timetabling). The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and operational support and coordination to the College in the areas of daily organisation and planning and to the Secondary schools for daily staffing and scheduling.

The role of the Academic Administrator contributes to the smooth daily operations of the Secondary School and to the planning and management of the school calendar K-12 and timetable. In performing this role, the Academic Administrator maintains close contact with the Director of Academic Excellence and ensures they are updated and informed about all matters relating to Teaching staff. The role also works closely with the Chief People and Culture Officer in assisting staff in advice, guidance and information about matters pertaining to conditions of employment.

This position will suit a Teacher who has experience with timetabling or a keen interest in moving into an operations role. This opportunity has a.4 teaching load, is paid according to the NSEA Teacher Banding and attracts a level 2 Leadership Allowance. We are seeking a collaborative individual with the ability to multitask, follow and enhance processes and ensure exceptional attention to detail.

We offer salaries above the award, ranging from $95,000 - $135,000 per annum (plus superannuation). Your salary will be based on your NESA accreditation level.
