We are seeking a highly motivated, supportive and passionate Trainer/Assessor to join our team. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct assessment marking in accordance with our policies and procedures
- Monitor and support student progress throughout their training program
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and assessment documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry changes and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our training and assessment services
- Deliver zoom support sessions to distance-based students
- Contribute to the pursuit of excellence through promoting and maintaining team spirit and abiding by the HIT Code of Conduct and implement all administrative policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) or willingness to obtain
- Current qualifications and/or experience in community services, aged care, disability and mental health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to quality training and assessment services
- High level of administration, computer and organisational skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aspley, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Community Services / Aged Care / Disability / Mental Health: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
