Health Industry Training is committed to providing high quality training courses in accessible, supportive and flexible learning environments, Australia wide. Our courses are specifically designed, ensuring students are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and practical experience to secure a place in the health sector.

We are seeking a highly motivated and supportive part time or full time trainer and assessor to train and assess students completing qualifications in ageing support, disability and mental health. The position is located at Aspley, north Brisbane.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

- Current qualifications and/or experience in aged care, disability and mental health.
- **MUST** have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or higher
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, be enthusiastic and approachable.
- High level of administration, computer and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Develop effective working relationships with students
- Ensure required documentation is prepared and submitted within in the specified timeframe.
- Provide student progress and feedback reports to Health Industry Training staff as requested.
- As part of the training team, you will be responsible for ensuring your professional development activities are current. This is to ensure compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015, in particular continue to develop vocational and training and assessment competencies to support continuous improvement in the delivery of RTO services.
- Contribute to the pursuit of excellence through promoting and maintaining team spirit and abiding by the HIT Code of Conduct and implementing all administrative policies and procedures.
