WA Cricket has a great opportunity within our High Performance team for an experienced sports administrator.

**About the Role**

The Cricket Operations Coordinator will coordinate the administrative planning, organisation and execution of responsibilities for commercial and non-commercial match day operations. And will also coordinate the WA Cricket’s female premier club competitions and other high performance competitions.

**Key Responsibilities**

Cricket Operations

In conjunction with the Competitions & Operations Manager, coordinate match day planning, organisation and execution of responsibilities for commercial and non-commercial matches and practice matches played at the WACA Ground and other off site venues, such as;
- Organisation of training, catering, medical and match day staffing requirements
- Match day management including:

- Coordination of scorers, room attendants, and other match day staff
- Coordination of the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA)
- Operation of the Duckworth-Lewis system
- Liaison with relevant stakeholders i.e. Venue Logistics Team
- Be the point of contact for home and away teams
- Be the point of contact for Match Officials, through Cricket Australia

Female Cricket Competitions

In conjunction with the Competitions & Operations Manager coordinate the administration of the Female Premier Club competitions (Senior & Junior), such as;
- Fixtures, rules and regulations, playing conditions
- Player registration/clearances
- Contribution to Premier Cricket digital media pages, including graphic creations and general content
- Provide training and support to club administrators relating to competition administration and club development
- Attend female stakeholder meetings and coordinate the collation and distribution of minutes as required
- Coordinate the Female Premier Cricket Awards Night (Karen Read Medal Night)
- Administer the payment of club grants

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

- Relevant tertiary qualification i.e. Business Management, Sports Administration or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years in a sports administration role
- Highly developed computer literacy and administration skills
- Demonstrated expertise and experience running sporting events
- Strong knowledge of cricket rules and regulations
- High developed interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a flexible approach
- WA Premier Cricket knowledge, experience and networks (desirable)
