About Us

You will be joining a growing School of Computing in the Faculty of Science and Engineering with a fast-rising reputation (Top 200 for Computer Science and Information Systems, in 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject) and substantial new hiring. The School of Computing is currently the home of 49 academic staff and more than 100 research students, and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduates and postgraduate coursework students. How to Apply

Essential Criteria- A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, with focus on
- _Multiagent Systems, Decision making under uncertainty, Planning under uncertainty, Game theory, Uncertain Inferences_,
- _Ethical AI _and/or
- _ Computer Vision_- Demonstrated commitment and capability in delivering high quality and innovative teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels- Demonstrated publications in top-tier peer reviewed journals and/or conferences- An understanding and appreciation of scholarly teaching- Demonstrated teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- _Multiagent Systems, Decision making under uncertainty, Planning under uncertainty, Gametheory, Uncertain Inferences_,
- _Ethical AI _and
- _ Computer Vision_- Proven ability to successfully attract and supervise research students- Demonstrated potential to attract nationally competitive and/or industry research grants- High level of oral and written communication skills in English- Proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and the community

Desirable Criteria- Proven ability to interact effectively with industry

Salary Package: Level B from $110,274 to $130,472 p.a. plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing.
