Situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise you will find Mantra Towers of Chevron. The property is comprised of three towers, offering one, two and three bedroom self-contained apartments in addition to a three-bedroom sub-penthouse and expansive pools for guests to relax in under the Gold Coast sky. On your days off, be a tourist and visit the Gold Coast’s iconic theme parks, bask in the sunshine on the beach, or go exploring along the hinterland trails, you will never be short of things to discover on the Gold Coast

Purpose
As the Assistant Building Manager, you will play a pivotal role alongside the Building Manager, collaborating to maintain the property's seamless operation. Your primary objective is to be the dedicated caretaker of the property's welfare, consistently seeking ways to elevate the quality of life within the building through creative and strategic solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Building Manager and General Manager, in supporting the Body Corporate, creating and managing budgets, financial reporting, and overseeing expenditures
- Serve as a liaison between strata owners and the strata committee, ensuring all stakeholders stay well-informed about building-related matters, issues, and decisions
- Organise and supervise routine maintenance and repairs for common areas and shared facilities within the building, including obtaining quotes and ensuring the work meets satisfactory standards
- Engage and supervise contractors, service providers, and suppliers for various building needs, such as landscaping, security, repair and cleaning services
- Ensure adherence to relevant strata laws and state regulations
- Be prepared to respond swiftly to emergencies, including building damage, safety concerns, or security issues, by coordinating necessary actions and resources

Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with strata and a track record of effectively collaborating with body corporates
- A robust skillset encompassing both administration and maintenance capabilities
- Have excellent verbal and written communication, with an unmatched eye for detail
- Skilled in stakeholder management and equipped with confident negotiation capabilities
- Previous experience in property maintenance, building or facility management and the implementation of preventative maintenance programs is advantageous
