**Head of Media & External Communications**

TCorp’s Client Relationships team is responsible for maintaining and developing broad and robust relationships with TCorp’s clients and key government sector stakeholders, enhancing TCorp’s awareness of its clients’ operating environment, and working across TCorp to drive market share and growth in take-up of client solutions.
Reporting to the General Manager, Client Relationships, the Head of Media & External Communications is responsible for leading and implementing TCorp’s organisation-wide external communications and media strategy. This involves maintaining and continuing to enhance TCorp’s reputation and brand to ensure we attract and retain investors and clients, locally and globally. This will include:
- developing and implementing TCorp's media strategy
- issues management, including development of a media engagement plan and protocols
- driving communication strategies and messaging aligned with TCorp’s brand
- targeted marketing activity to NSW government clients and stakeholders including the media, investors, and investment partners
- raising the profile of the marketing capability across TCorp and advising key internal stakeholders
- being accountable for agreed marketing metrics and relevant client survey results
This role contributes to increasing awareness of TCorp’s solution capabilities, making the investment case for the State of NSW, positioning TCorp as a partner of choice, maintaining strong client survey results and managing the TCorp brand reputation and brand guidelines.
Key outcomes and accountabilities in this role will include:
- developing and implementing TCorp’s media strategy and plan to underpin a proactive and targeted engagement with the mainstream financial media
- contributing to issues management through development and implementation of media and public engagement strategies and communication protocols
- leading on broad-based marketing and communications including strategy development, planning and execution, developing processes and standards for content tone and format, and ensuring brand consistency and alignment across all communication channels
- partnering with the Financial Markets business to develop and implement marketing campaigns for existing and potential investors including collateral, presentations, pitch books and road shows
- establishing and developing high impact relationships with internal business partners and key external stakeholders
- developing and driving a content (thought leadership) plan to raise TCorp’s profile across multiple channels and stakeholder groups
