Job Summary: The Associate Consultant II works in a team of professionals responsible for designing, developing and testing solutions with SPS customers. This role will manage service delivery to customers and act as the primary technical contact until the customer is successfully flowing electronic data in production. Core responsibilities also include system configuration and performance testing that supports electronic data flow between business retailers and their network of suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Work effectively in a collaborative work environment
- Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products
- Install, upgrade, test, and configure system as part of implementation project
- Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and work to understand clients' business objectives and goals
- Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress
- Train customers on best practices
- Track progress of Implementation project(s)
- Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved
- Possess and maintain a high level of industry specific business knowledge by remaining current with emerging products and technical updates

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with no professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- Prior technical or project management work experience and some prior (low level) programming experience
- General understanding of the concept of e-commerce and electronic data interchange (EDI) preferred

Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results
- Familiarity with XML a plus
- Experience with text editing and data mapping tools
