**About the role**:
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing strategies to drive revenue and profitability whilst meeting our commitment to provide ‘low prices’ to our customers. To do this effectively, you will leverage your retail and analytical skills to optimise and review prices for a large assortment of merchandise, utilising advanced solutions in data analytics and pricing strategies.

**Key aspects of the role**:

- Conduct pricing analysis and recommend new pricing recommendations based on facts and insights that will deliver on business expectations for revenue and profitability
- Optimise and manage price recommendations at article level within your area of responsibility to drive the specific category role and strategy
- Understand the impact of pricing on the whole assortment in relation to customers’ perceptions and reactions
- Ensure the Officeworks’ price offer is competitively positioned in the market
- Work closely with buying teams to build organisational confidence in the effectiveness of price recommendations, impacts and ongoing price management
- Liaise with and support internal stakeholders to fulfil all requirements for ensuring data integrity is maintained
- Draw on feedback from merchandise teams to review, identify and improve on pricing strategies
- Ensure all price changes are urgently and effectively communicated through all selling channels
- Measure and report on results achieved through price changes over time
- Assist in the communication and presentation of pricing strategies and outcomes
- Playing an instrumental role in developing a pricing culture that balances customer needs, commercial targets, and supports the organisations wider strategic agenda

**About you**:
In addition to your advanced Excel skills, technical knowledge and experience utilising advanced solutions, you have an analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and commercial aptitude. Outstanding interpersonal, stakeholder management, project experience and communication skills will enable you to effectively engage and influence a range of stakeholders. You will be able to take the ‘big picture’ view with demonstrable internal consultancy and influencing skills, while possessing a keen eye for the detail and confidence presenting outcomes.
