Allied Health Assistant

As an Allied Health Assistant, your role will involve performing both clinical and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for assisting in providing all Occupational and Physiotherapy services in accordance with POGCS operating policies and procedures. Your duties will include servicing NDIS clients based on the treatment plan developed by the Allied Health Professionals. You may need to transport residents to and from therapy sessions or appointments and set up and pack away the therapy gym or Occupational therapy equipment, including cleaning both the area and equipment, as directed by the physiotherapists or occupational therapists.

Moreover, you will be accountable for collecting referrals and performing any other administrative tasks as instructed by the Occupational therapist. You will also be responsible for ordering prescribed equipment, running therapy sessions, and supporting initiatives to meet client and contract expectations. If necessary, you will consult with the physiotherapist or occupational therapist regarding adaptations, changes, and progressions of treatment plans for clients.

Furthermore, you will participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals as outlined by POGCS policies and procedures.

Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
