**About the Role**

**As a Payroll Officer, your duties will include ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, maintaining payroll records, and addressing any inquiries or issues related to payroll.**

**The position located in Campbellfield / VIC and reporting to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, including calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.**:

- **Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.**:

- **Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing timely and accurate responses.**:

- **Prepare payroll reports and assist with financial audits as needed.**:

- **Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.**:

- **Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.**

**If you have;**
- **Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field would be an advantage.**:

- **Proven experience as a Junior Payroll Officer or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.**:

- **Good understanding in payroll software - VISTA and MS Office, especially Excel.**:

- **Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.**:

- **Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.**:

- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**
