Given current market growth, Genneral Staircase is seeking to hire a highly motivated and passionate **Demand Planner / Scheduler. **The position would be located at our Head Office in Wetherill Park.

The person most suited to this role would have previous experience in a similar role with exposure to the building industry. It would suit a person who is very motivated, outgoing, has a great work ethic and is able to work as part of a dynamic team for a highly successful and fast-growing Australian Business.

This is a full-time permanent role

**Key Skills & Attributes**:

- Use a collaborative approach to co-ordinate workflow with internal and external partners to prepare an optimised schedule that can be adhered to by all stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external supervisors.
- Ensure schedules meet contractual agreements.
- Deliver a realistic and accurate forecast.
- Ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
- Manage key scheduling functions to ensure quality and timely service to all customers.
- Proactively highlight and address supply risks and issues that could affect the business, particularly in relation to demand trends and customer service impacts.
- Interpret data to support critical decision making.
- Ability to move resources with independence and autonomy
- Maintain data integrity
- Ensure that the company’s agreed quality standards are maintained.
- Regularly review and refine systems and processes to continually improve their ability to meet requirements of the business and customers.
- Producing accurate, informative progress reports to support decision making and resource allocation

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a demand planner, scheduling, or workflow co-ordinator
- Experience in workflow management including reporting (forecasts, budgets etc.)
- Understanding of the critical path method for scheduling and or project management
- Exceptional communications skills
- Trade certificate highly desirable
- Previous experience in the building industry
- Deadline driven with exceptional time management skills
- Lean / Six sigma experience is a distinct advantage.
