The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust (the Trust) is responsible for the management and stewardship of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Domain, the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah. The Trust incorporates the Australian Institute of Botanical Science and is one of the country’s leading international tourism businesses.

**About the role**

The Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Asset Systems Coordinator to maintain business systems, tools, data and records that are critical to RBGDT’s asset management operations and comply with NSW Government Policy, statutory and financial obligations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Asset Management group supporting our 3 iconic botanic garden sites and work alongside world leading staff from the fields of science and horticulture. There is also a career development opportunity from this role toward the Asset Systems Manager.

**About You**

You will have come from a background where usage of a computerised asset and works management system is routine. You may have previously administered such a system. You may be a facilities/infrastructure management practitioner that has developed extensive knowledge and skills with information technology (IT) systems and tools. Either way, you have a sound knowledge of how assets are managed throughout their lifecycle and want to expand your knowledge and skills across a diverse asset portfolio.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Experience in facilities / asset management practices and processes.
- Ability to effectively train staff in the use of procedures and tools

**Essential requirements**
- At least intermediate proficiency in the use of Excel and Microsoft Access for the processing of bulk data and development of reports.
- Ability to travel to and attend work at any site within the RBGDT portfolio.
- Current drivers license.
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours if required.
