About the role
The Patient Services Assistant performs a variety of duties that support and assist nursing staff with the provision of clinical care on the ward.
**These duties include (but not limited to)**:
Assist with beverage and/or meal distribution to patients as required
Ad Hoc Cleaning services - including but not limited to cleaning of spills, infectious cleaning and cleaning of patient room on discharge
Transportation of patients and patient equipment
The Healesville Ward offers a diverse care environment for patients who reside within the local community.
Healesville Hospital is the smallest of the Eastern Health facilities, located on Maroondah Hwy Healesville. The ward is a 15 bed ward that provides Medical, Surgical, Palliative and Geriatric Evaluation and Management services
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Must have a Cert III in Health Services Assistant
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
