About the role

Looking for a committed experienced Registered Nurse to work as an After Hours Coordinator working within a small team in a community hospital.

The After Hours Coordinator is responsible for providing effective leadership and management of the Hospital operations and nursing/ midwifery services in relation to resource management, patient flow & safety, emergency management and safe practice, while maintaining customer focus, and ensuring the safe, efficient and effective functioning of the hospital during the afterhours period.

This is a dual clinical and coordinator role as the incumbent will also be clinically in charge of the Healesville Ward.

The Healesville Ward offers a diverse care environment for patients who reside within the local community.

Healesville Hospital is the smallest of the Eastern Health facilities, located on Maroondah Hwy Healesville. The ward is a 15 bed ward that provides Medical, Surgical, Palliative and Geriatric Evaluation and Management services

About you

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Current Nursing registration with AHPRA

Demonstrated broad based knowledge and demonstrated senior experience in nursing

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team and to work autonomously

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Good computer skills

Ability to think proactively
