Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Risk & Assurance Analyst. You will be working collaboratively with the team to achieve overall business objectives, with a specific focus on risk, audit and assurance activities.

This includes working with internal stakeholders to ensure robust processes are in place to ensure risks are appropriately identified, managed, and monitored.

Reporting into the Group Manager, Risk & Quality as part of the Risk & Quality Team, your key accountabilities include:

- Supporting the Group Manager Risk & Quality to deliver risk, audit and assurance activities across the group, including the regular review and update of related framework documentation;
- Facilitating risk assessments and risk reviews to develop Risk Profiles;
- Monitoring and reporting against risk measures and metrics;
- Conducting audit and assurance activities to monitor compliance with deed and regulatory obligations and business processes;
- Monitoring and reporting on audit and assurance activities in line with the audit plan;
- Supporting the business in the planning, delivery and execution of the Information Management Roadmap for Change; and
- Supporting the business on effective and efficient management and workflow of corporate information.

- High level communication skills (verbal and written), including the provision of advice on records and information management issues of a complex, critical and sensitive nature.
- Ability to liaise effectively and work collaboratively, including consultation, influencing and negotiation with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to the culture of teamwork and take on shared responsibility for achieving results.
- Growth mindset with the ability to actively listen, process feedback, reflect, learn and help others learn.
- Team player with the ability to build and maintain quality working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Your Background
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate, financial services or a related industry with experience in risk, audit or a control focused background.
- Demonstrate a proven track-record of taking a pragmatic, commercial approach to managing risks while achieving desired outcomes.
- Proven track record of operating within a complex multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary business.
