This newly created role will sit within the Australian Markets team in QLD, playing an important role in managing the contractual relationships with key external stakeholders such as the Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads - DTMR), Brisbane City Council (BCC), our joint venture partners, and our contractors.

About the role

We're seeking a Reporting Analyst, to proactively monitor and ensure Transurban Queensland's compliance with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) benchmarks across various contractual agreements.

You'll join an innovative team who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of performance and compliance in our services and concessions operations.

As our Reporting Analyst, for Services & Concessions, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities by ensuring accurate reporting, identifying and rectifying anomalies, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:
- Maintain expertise in Concession Deed, Project Deeds, RFA KPI, and Service contracts to ensure timely and accurate State and Operational reporting-
- Monitor KPI performance, providing regular reports to management, State, and Brisbane City Council; analyse data to develop corrective strategies-
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to KPI benchmarks, implementing corrective actions to avoid demerit points and penalties-
- Oversee KPI Reporting System inputs, collaborating with system owners to collect and verify interfacing data-
- Lead and direct staff in KPI reporting activities, ensuring timely and quality reporting in cooperation with Business Unit Managers-
- Build strong relationships across the business to effectively communicate compliance requirements, demonstrating thorough understanding of Queensland compliance policies-
- Contribute to compliance team's strategic planning and business improvements, engaging key internal and external stakeholders-
- Resolve operational issues within role scope, escalate as necessary, and deliver outcomes to meet operational requirementsThis role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Demonstrated experience in the collection and analysis of key business performance data within a complex commercial environment-
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, in particular experience in the development of financial models-
- Demonstrated ability in the analysis of data in respect of financial and operational performance, and in the preparation and presentation of reports in that regard-
- Advanced experience and skill in analysing business system performance, and in identifying solutions to address sub-optimal systems outcomes-
- Demonstrated experience in the development of business key performance indicators-
- A proven track record of developing strong working partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the achievement of business goals-
- Hold a valid driver licence to drive across the Queensland Motorways network and attend sites on the Queensland Motorways network and meetings with external stakeholders (essential)-
