Your New Employer

Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia (RMHC) is one of Australia's most recognised and respected charities. They have been providing essential support for seriously ill children and their families across Australia since 1981. They run a federated organisational structure with Chapters (11 across Australia - circa 400 employees) that provide accommodation and programs for seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. These Chapters are supported by RMHC Australia. The role of RMHC Australia is to be the glue within the federated system and enable mission delivery by supporting the RMHC Chapters to drive efficiencies, best practice and add value to their operations. RMHC Australia also has a 'whole of system' view to explore and implement initiatives and opportunities that will benefit the charity.

RMHC Australia's culture is cohesive, diverse, inclusive and person-centred. Their values centre heavily around compassion, flexibility, collaboration, respect and professionalism.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll champion, influence and enable the execution of the agreed RMHC IT strategy. You'll oversee, lead, provide or facilitate specialist IT advice to support technology solutions for the RMHC Chapters across Australia, to enhance current and future mission delivery. **You'll be accountable for**:
Leading, developing and mentoring a small, high performing IT team of 4;
Ensuring the necessary support, thought leadership and strategic direction for all aspects of Information, Technology and Data Management to the RMHC Chapters;
Planning the development and implementation of the IT Strategy, including delivery of agreed annual tactics;
Coordinating an environment where Chapters and the RMHC system benefit from the experience, ideas and support of key technology supporters and partners; and

Providing and coordinating the expert support and specialist IT advice for Chapter operations.

This is an exciting and highly visible leadership opportunity that will be empowered to shape and influence the future of technology for one of Australia's most recognisable charities.

Your Background and Experience

**You'll ideally have**:
Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role;
Experience working within a similar federated organisational structure;
A proven ability to influence without authority. You'll be a technology thought leader who is an excellent listener and highly solution minded;
You'll be an inspirational leader that empowers and develops their staff and influences results through stakeholder credibility;
You will enjoy building relationships with internal stakeholders and will possess high levels of personal integrity; and

Above all else, you will be passionate about helping others and will have possess a friendly, vibrant and positive attitude with a high level of emotional intelligence and professional maturity.
