This well established and regarded agribusiness provide a range of support and services to their members across Qld. They are looking to hire a Finance Officer to manage their AP and AR functions, assist with month-end procedures as well as provide member support.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Working in a small team and reporting directly into the CFO, your key duties will include:
- Full function Accounts Payable;
- Accounts Receivable tasks including invoicing, banking, allocating cash and collections;
- Lead up to end of month reporting including journals, accruals and reconciliations;
- Support for end of month and end of year reporting;
- Liaising with members and resolving a range of accounting support issues;
- Helping with general office administration and providing administrative support; and
- Other ad hoc support and project work as required.
**About You**
You will bring these attributes to the role:
- 2+ years prior experience in a similar Accounts & Administration role.
- Prior XERO or MYOB (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices.
- Proven capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative.
- A capability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, professional relationships.
