**The Role**

The design technology (wood, metal, graphics & robotics) rooms at Trinity Christian School provide space
and opportunity to educate, train and develop the design and technical skills of students. It is a busy and
demanding environment where safety is paramount.

The Design Technology Assistant helps to facilitate the operations of the technical rooms and to support
the teaching staff, in a manner that is God honouring and consistent with the school’s vision to provide a
Christ-centred education in a learning community of Love, Nurture and Service. The Design Technology
Assistant will ensure that order, safety, maintenance, preparation and forward thinking are given a high
priority at all times, and thus contribute to high quality and professional Design Technology spaces.
The design Technology Assistant is responsible to the Principal through the Technology Coordinator and
the Business Manager. The Design Technology Coordinator issues day to day responsibilities. The Business
Manager determines the employment details.

This is a full-time position, 42 weeks a year. Hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm.
