**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our team at ASCOT GROUP. The HSEQ Manager will design, implement and perform the ongoing functions of the role.
- Oversee the implementation, use and maintenance of HSEQ software platform - ‘WORX’.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance of ISO Certification (ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001)
- Implement and maintain the company's HSEQ framework, policies, and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Regularly review and update management system documents to reflect best practices and evolving needs.
- Provide expertise, governance and advisory services related to HSEQ, ensuring that all practices align with company policies and legal requirements. This includes performing on-site visits to ensure HSEQ practices are being followed.
- Work collaboratively with the GM-Human Resources & Ops and other key stakeholders to manage and oversee HSEQ matters, strategy and programs across the business.
- Regularly assess the organisation's HSEQ practices to identify and address potential compliance issues.
- Strongly support the ASCOT GROUP values and promote a culture of compliance and responsibility.
- Ensure all staff receive HSEQ information upon commencement and when updated from time to time and understand their obligations through appropriate compliance training.

**About You**:

- Bachelors’ degree preferably in Occupational, Health & Safety and/or relevant applied industry experience.
- At least 5 years experience, in a similar role within the Building & Construction Industry.
- Relevant industry skills will be highly regarded, especially in legislation.
- Knowledge of Work Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
- Experience with ISO accreditation. 
- Experience creating SWMS and WHS Policies.
- Maintain a full Australian (relevant State or Territory) Driver’s Licence.
