We have partnered with Assett Group Services, a leader in the provision of maintenance services, specialising in the social and community housing sector.
The passionate team are currently looking for an experienced IMS / Residential Construction HSEQ Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, the IMS / HSEQ Manager will play a pivotal role in the organisation, collaborating closely with various teams and contributing to the development of their Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) capabilities.
This opportunity is particularly well suited for individuals with a background in residential construction and a desire to broaden their horizons.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborating closely with the Executive team and providing valuable insights through reporting.
- Advising and guiding project teams to continuously enhance HSEQ awareness and proficiency.
- Managing the HSEQ Management System to ensure compliance with relevant Standards and the effective implementation of our Integrated Management System across health, safety, quality, and environment domains.
- Promptly addressing incidents and injuries and overseeing audit processes within the business.
- Coordinating and managing feedback from Customers and Contractors to drive improvement.
- Conducting essential site and workplace inspections as required.
- Designing, delivering, and coordinating comprehensive HSEQ training.
- Conducting both internal and external audits to ensure our standards are upheld.
You'll bring to the table the following skills, experience, and personal qualities:
- Recognized qualifications in Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality disciplines, or related experiential background.
- Proficiency in Residential Construction and the formulation of risk assessments and WHSEQ Management Plans.
- Familiarity with managing HSEQ management systems and a solid grasp of pertinent legislation, codes of practice, and standards in NSW.
- Demonstrated success and experience in roles of similar nature.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong engagement and influencing skills, with a knack for building robust relationships.
- A collaborative mindset, dedicated to achieving organisational objectives through teamwork.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
