**The Role**:
The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for the end to end development and running of QHSE programs for the company, to educate and improve the culture of QHSE in the workplace.
The HSEQ Manager will work closely with all levels of the company from operations to management and finance.
Suitable people for this role will be those that have recently completed WHS/QHSE courses and, potentially, had some QHSE exposure. This is so that the right person can further develop Safety, Health, Quality, and Environment, without biases or past habits clouding the desired change for the culture of the company.
An enthusiastic individual would work well to both encourage positive workplace, and grow the culture around QHSE and bring in ideas/solutions to the company.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Conduct risk assessments on a regular basis.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
- Oversee safety training programs.
- Maintain compliance standards for QHSE.
- Develop and maintain a QMS.
- Conduct quality audits.
- Collaborate with production to improve processes.
- Implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
- Facilitate environmental training.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and emergency services.

**Experience**:
- Tertiary education in Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or other related field.
- An understanding of/or experience in steel, paint, chemical, and/or manufacturing industries.
- Professional licenses, eg dogman’s ticket.
- Displayed proficiency in MS Office and HSEQ management software.
- Experience in HSEQ in a working environment.
