**Your new role awaits**:
Based at our **Dandenong Office**, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for arranging the safest, most cost-effective and efficient transport of equipment for the Coates Business.
- Ownership of health & safety for all employees, contractors & customers
- Implementing daily optimised transport planning, route modelling and scheduling to customer demands
- Engaging with a variety of systems to make informed, data driven decisions
- Providing system-based transport planning activity within the region to ensure movements are optimised
- Ensuring transport partners can optimally complete required service levels, in line with agreed costs and critical metrics
- Implementing effective up-to-date scheduling of loading times and confirm customer timeslots are achieved
- Manage and coordinate equipment pick up, delivery and change-over’s in order to optimise utilisation of the Coates Hire fleet
- Schedule daily deliveries in Coates’ transport management software using both Coates’ drivers and contractor drivers
- Liaise with Fleet and Operations departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.

**About you**:
As well as having amazing customer service skills and a Can-Do, flexible attitude, you will have:

- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Confidence in your ability to provide excellent customer service (phone based)
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
- Proven Computer skills with strong data literacy and experience with route planning software an advantage
- Strong experience with Transport Management Systems and operational planning processes
- Understanding of the transport industry, transport equipment and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction in the region
- Prior experience in an administration, coordination or customer service role
- LEAN/process improvement training and experience an advantage
- Please note: you will be required to work one Saturday every month - earn overtime
