Ward Clerk - Urgent Care Centre
Permanent Part Time - 16 hours per fortnight (weekends)

**Classification**: Administration Assistant Grade 1, Level 1 (HS1)

**Award**: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025
An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Assistant to join the Customer Excellence team at Maryborough District Health Service. We are looking for an individual to work within our Urgent Care Centre as the Ward Clerk on weekends. The hours for this position will be 16 hours per fortnight, from 10:00am to 6:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, as part of a job share position.
This position will be responsible for providing a high standard of clerical and administrative support to the nursing setting as required.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise workload with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated great time management skills
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to utilise a range of different software including but not limited to; Microsoft Office and i.Patient Manager (iPM)
- Ability to demonstrate highly developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to screen and attend to confidential and sensitive enquiries.

Desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Enthusiastic, committed and motivated approach with strong organisational skills
