**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced?individuals to join our Class Support Team to support delivery within our various trades skills teams in the position of General Assistant/Toolstoreperson.

We have the following opportunities available:

- Temporary Part Time Part Year opportunity until January 2024, with possible extension, available for 5 hours per week for 36 weeks per year, located at the TAFE NSW Moruya Campus.
- Casual opportunities located at all campus locations within the TAFE NSW South Region

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The General Assistant/Toolstoreperson is responsible for providing high level customer service to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs. This position may be required to work to a roster and to carry out manual handling activities. This position contributes to the daily operational needs of the section/s.

This role supports all areas including Nursing, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality and other general trade skills; however, you don’t have to be qualified to work in these areas - just the right attitude to learn and make a positive contribution.

This role may be required to provide ad hoc urgent relief work to various skills areas, and work across a variety of locations within the South Region at short notice. Because of this requirement, you must be flexible, able to travel (within a reasonable distance) and have good availability.

If you are a self-starter who is willing to be hands on to support learning outcomes and delivery in the classroom and are excited to share your industry knowledge and experience with others..

**Highly regarded**
- Experience within a specific trade section or related work area is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in receipt, issue and maintenance of trade tools and equipment for relevant area will be highly regarded.
- Computer literacy.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
