**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Coke & Iron making** team at our **Port Kembla **Manufacturing facility as an **Electrical Equipment Specialist**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

**What Will You Do?**

Working in a supportive environment, you will contribute to the safety of our people, the quality of our product and the reliability of our equipment. You will:

- troubleshoot day-to-day problems, recommending robust solutions
- provide assessment and follow up of equipment issues impacting plant performance
- perform equipment inspections as well as detailed planning and condition monitoring of equipment
- assess of the priority of emergent work relative to planned work to ensure Electrical Trade resources are applied in the best interests of the business
- coach and mentor operators and tradespersons in equipment function and technology

With a strong technical background, you will bring:

- electrical trade qualifications
- NSW Electrical licence
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
- experience with manufacturing equipment and the ability to utilise electrical schematics to establish root cause
- experience working both independently and as part of a manufacturing team
- strong attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- fault finding and problem solving ability in a cross discipline team environment
