**The Role**
This is an exciting role, joining an international manufacturing business and reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. Working in a hands on capacity within the production department you will be performing Quality checks to ensure the highest level of quality for the manufactured products.

**Responsibilities**
- Using the testing machines you will be checking product quality is consistent and maintained
- Communicate and guide the production team to ensure quality processes are followed
- Utilizing testing machines & equipment
- Checking & approving in coming raw product such as steel or plastics
- Conduct production run approval checks
- Monitoring and reporting on product properties and dimensions
- Calibrate test equipment and investigate and arrange purchase of replacement or new equipment.
- Assist the Sales and Technical teams in investigating customer complaints
- Assist Manufacturing introduce new parts, tooling or equipment by conducting capability reviews, inspections, tests and reports as requested

**Applicant Requirements**
We are looking for someone with QA experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ideally minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Working with Machines & machine calibration is highly desirable.
- Understanding of statistical process control, fatigue testing and the like is highly advantageous
- Capable of working autonomously
- Basic understanding of ISO9001.
- Good technical aptitude
- Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous exposure to Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Good communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders
